The Histomap of World History was created in 1931 by John B. Sparks and is a wonderful piece that showcases the shift of global power.

We’ve admired the Histomap for years and wanted to revisit how the content was presented without changing the integrity of what Mr. Sparks had created.

With this updated Histomap we brought a refreshed color palette, font treatments, and a slight tweak to how the content was laid out.
