Yes, Wesley is on the run all the damn time but when he’s not and he’s at home in Chicago there are a few places that he frequents. Don’t worry, they’re not your run of the mill places either. Each of these spots pays as much attention to design in their spaces and through their products as Wesley does with his apartment. Okay, we have a small disclaimer. One of these spots is another one of Wesley’s spaces.

We all have our favorite coffee shops and this one is just as unique as the rest. Four Letter Word started in Istanbul and recently opened a shop in Chicago. Their space is so well designed and has some international flavor. You’ll have to @ Wesley (@wesleytaylor) to hear how the coffee is.

This is Wesley’s space we alluded to earlier. He started Studio 1037 in the upper level of his apartment and we’re just hoping he puts it up on Airbnb soon. It’s not open to the public so don’t go peeking around attic spaces in Wicker Park but it’s a quiet, naturally-lit studio that you’ll want to escape to for your next portrait session.

The last spot on Wesley’s list is Gather Home + Lifestyle. “Another amazingly curated home goods store, dangerously close to my house, and love that there’s always something new to discover.” Wes proclaims. This space is filled with brick walls, cashmere scarfs, and air plants for days. Trust us, you’ll either want to bring it all home or set up your own room in the corner.
